En sus inicios como emprendedor, Haniel Cordero, fue finalista en la competencia “Elevetor Pitch” en el 2009 en la Universidad de Puerto Rico en Mayagüez. Fue también finalista en la competencia de ideas de negocios “Enterprize-Business Idea Competition” de Guayacan Group y fue galardonado con un internado de Emprendedor en Progreso en el 2008. Haniel también ganó La Mejor Idea de Negocio en Innovación-Agricultura en la competencia Inovación Empresarial de PRTEC en 2009. Haniel Cordero disfruta de compartir sus conocimientos. Por esto fue empleado como Profesor Técnico en varias instituciones técnicas en el oeste de Puerto Rico. El Profesor Cordero, como lo llamaban sus estudiantes, enseñó en Man Power Business Institute (MBTI) en Aguadilla, Instituto de Banca y Comercio en Aguadilla y en Mayagüez. Fue ganador del Premio Retención en el 2005 por cero deserción estudiantil. Desde el 2001 es Técnico de audio-visuales en los programas de Faro de Esperanza. Cordero fue voluntario en varios campamentos de jóvenes como líder y como educador. Actualmente apoya voluntariamente en asuntos tecnológicos al Diálogo de Autogestión Económica (www.autogestionpr.com) y a otras organizaciones sin fines de lucro (ONG).

She has a medical background as a Physical Therapist Assistant and has had an avid interest in alternative medicine, natural health and healing, and nutrition for many years. She considers herself a dedicated "foodie" and loves to create flavorful, fun dishes using unusual and unique ingredients, and make healthy recipe versions of favorite "comfort" foods. She first released "The HCG Diet Gourmet Cookbook" in 2007 as an e-book to a handful of HCG Dieters.
